Bereavement
Related: About this forumThanksgiving + Christmas without people
I'm not special: I'm aware of the losses piling up in the world every day; of people suffering far more than I ever have. When I count losses, I also can count blessings. The past couple of years I've lost family to heart disease and lung disease. I've lost friends to addiction and related diseases. They're not around for the holidays anymore. I'm grateful for those who are and try to show them in action, not just lip service. I put this out for all like me who find themselves missing other people
