In NJ there were 2 large protests, the largest probably at Secaucus.

4 of us from Occupy Jersey organized a smaller protest in our area. I was thrilled by the larger than expected # of participants - around 30, including labor. And also by the stronger than expected response from cars passing us on the highway where we stood: lots of honks, thumbs up, nods and smiles.
It was exhiliarating!
Another group stood by the walmart entrance and engaged shoppers in discussion. No attempt by walmart to remove anyone.
I'd like to read something about nation-wide protests (said to be in 1500 cities), in case anyone comes across something on how they fared.

(63,307 posts)just went to show my support. About 15 or so. They were moved around by a couple of police who mostly sat in a patrol car watching them.
