(27,026 posts)take it rather slowly here. DU has been around since the day George W. Bush was inaugurated, and it looks like any number of people here have also been around that long. I'm learning that there's a definite culture to the different forums (I've already run afoul of one of them, alas) and so a lot of lurking and minimal posting is probably a good idea.
And maybe reading a bunch of old threads just to find out what's normative here.
