(152,850 posts)I've bookmarked many threads, all the while wondering about storage in the archives, but none of the Admins has ever said anything about not storing lots of posts.
I wouldn't worry! If there were a problem, they would have told us.

(21,320 posts)You are merely storing a "pointer" to a post. It would not matter if it was pointing to a post with only one word in it, or a photography post with multiple large jpegs in it...the "pointer" to the post would only take up a few bytes.

(18,606 posts)The My Posts tab lists out links to those posts for you. The list goes back 30 days. The list includes all OPs and all replies from any group or forum on DU.
Hope this helps

(18,606 posts)I say thanks here for the times I wondered and puzzled over how this or that worked and read questions written by someone else with a better command of the vocabulary. Those questions and the answers by various subject matter experts led me to the answers to my question(s) that I didn't know how to ask.
A true leader isn't afraid to ask a question.
It's likely that this thread will lead several others to an answer they needed.
All of us with questions and who look for information are in the debt of those who ask.
