Cannot remained logged-in on my iPad, why?

Help needed. Previously I was able to stay logged-in all the time on my iPad 2 (running the latest software update) but now I have to sign-in each time I opened the iPad browser to DU. This has been going on for the last couple weeks. I have tried completely logging-out and then logging-in again, but that didn't help. I use both Safari and Firefox on my iPad and both have been logging me out.

I have no problem staying logged-in on my iMac desktop, but can't get the iPad to keep the log-in, even though I check the "Remain logged-in" box.

Please, some body help me figure out what is going on and how to fix it. Is this a problem with the DU or with the iPad?

The ads when not logged-in are driving me nuts.

1. Do you have accept cookies from sites I visited on in settings

4. For Safari, I have the Block Cookies set to "Allow from websites I visit" and

the "Do Not Track" option off. Should that option be on? On Firefox, I have the "Location" set to allow while using the app and the Cellular Data on, those are the only setting options I get for Firefox.

I had not changed my setting in the last month or so, so I don't know why I can't retain the log-in now when it used to be no problem. I'm frustrated by this, and I am not a very tech-wise person, so am I appreciate all the help I can get.

5. I am having the same problem with my iPhone.

I think it started when I recently paid my star membership in late June. Very irritating to get constant ads even tho I paid.

6. I have had this issue for at least three years. I asked skinner about it, and it

appears to be something in the iOS. I have an iPhone 6s with iOS versions 7 to the latest 10 version. It does seem to happen when I move from home wi-fi to another wi-fi, though sometimes just jumping to LTE data will screw it up. Don't know, and skinner did not have any ideas. It appears to be iOS, though I don't really have anything else to compare it with.
