I see that I often have 'unexplained edits' but they are usually just spelling or punctuation. Where do I note those?

There's a text box under the main message text box labeled "Explain edits"

When you are editing there is a field at the bottom of the edit area. It is called "Explain edits". Just type in your reason. Once posted that field cannot be edited.
