Related: About this forumIs there a way to move a thread
I posted a question that should have been in the Bernie forum. I didn’t know there were separate forums. Is there a way to move it?

(267 posts)A lot of people replied to it and it would create a strange hole to just delete my post and leave all the replies there.

(229,093 posts)Back on DU.2, mods could move threads that were posted in the wrong forum, but not even forum hosts have that capability now. You could also post a link to your new OP in the old one if you don't want to self delete.

(267 posts)I have already deleted, reposted in another forum, then the thread was locked. I’ve learned a good lesson. 2020 anxiety and airing too many reservations about candidates can make other people very unhappy. I think I’m suffering from post 2016 disorder.

(229,093 posts)I find I can't take a whole lot of news these days, and I'm not posting much about the candidates, either. I have my favorites, we all probably do, but it's gotten almost as intense as 2016 and I'm just waiting for the dust to settle.

(229,093 posts)I have my favorite, same as you, but I've been here since the 2004 election and I know how it can be. So I keep trying to remember to breathe and know that I may be disappointed - but as long as we're rid of Trump, that's what counts the most.
