Related: About this forumI'm a bit confused but I want to do the right thing.
I had a comment on a recent thread in the Democratic Primaries forum supporters of Warren discussion. I am a supporter of Kamala Harris but by no means critical of Warren. I simply had a comment but then realized that maybe my comment could be taken as criticism, so I deleted it, thinking it was against forum rules.
My question is: can we comment on a candidate in his/her forum if we are not self identified as supporters of another candidate?

(11,096 posts)How about Ask the Administrators? Personally I dont like to intrude into forums Im not identified with but I do believe if written in an acceptable way its fine.

Thank you for your suggestion, tho. I appreciate hearing the comment and one that I am sure will be addressed by the Admins as time goes forward.

(18,295 posts)That's what Skinner said in his announcement of the primary season and the candidate groups. If you change your preference you must wait a week before you can post in the candidate's group. I'd guess that a change from undecided to a candidate would be subject to the wait.
Here is a link to the announcement.

(65,520 posts)Harris group, even tho my reason may (and doesn't) stem from animosity toward Warren, but simply an opinion about her campaign strategy, which is unnecessary because it is nothing new.

You were probably in the primaries group where you can post freely about any candidate.
