DU Advanced Search Tips

Are there instructions as to how to use the search terms field to delineate multi-work strings and other techniques to fine tune search results?

This would be all the little tricks, such as strings, not words, which should be a - in front.

I try them out and they either don't work or I get zero results returned.

advanced search is best for a particular author, leaving the "search terms" box blank
