The drop down menus are blank. Mousing over the choices make the individual selections visible one by one. The drop downs are black and the text white when visible.
I've confirmed this on my PC with both Firefox and Edge in DU default display mode. I also see this on my partner's PC in Skinner mode on both Chrome and Edge. I was logged in on her account.
On my Android phone there is no problem.

(32,537 posts)I dont know if I understand but I am curious.
On this page, for instance
https://www.democraticunderground.com/index.php
On my PC laptop just placing the cursor over a category like "latest" or "greatest" etc results in nothing coming up below that. If I click on it then it goes to that section. But at no time is just placing the mouse or cursor over anything does it show me what is below it.
I would like that but dont know how to make that happen if it is a PC setting?

(18,158 posts)Under the Start Discussion button lies the filter bar.
It starts with Show ... Category
then Relevance and more
You can select what is shown/not shown on that page. The filter bar appears on several other pages that display posts from different forums.
Some where I saw a write up of this tool. I'll see if I can find it and I'll reply to you again with a link.

(32,537 posts)But you are right it doesn't have anything in the drop down.

(18,158 posts)Mentions about how to use it in a specific forum was all I found..
If I move my cursor in the blank drop down menus I see the selections.
The relevance one is useful in the videos page. You can select political or non-political.
