Why does the My Subs tab keep turning yellow on my DU homepage?

1. Click on My Subs

It will show you the forums or persons you are subscribed to (new posts therein or thereby)

Read posts to clear the yellow.

Or unsubscribe.

2. I'm not subscribing to anyone...

...and it actually says so when I click on My Subs.

3. OK, you've got a problem.

Try clearing browser cookies and history, or whatever your browser calls resetting it. That should also log you out. It is highly unlikely to be on the DU end.

You should not have to reboot the computer, and on my computer, that does not reset the browser at all.

4. I think I figured out the problem.

It seems as though I was subscribed to the Lounge and the My Subs tab was lighting up whenever someone started a new thread there. Must have hit Subscribe by mistake at some point. Never done that before.

5. It is REAL EASY to punch the unintended button on phones

Or any touch device. The one that gets a lot of people is the two overlapping squares on the bottom right of iphone browser screens.

People try to add a tab and hit new private tab accidentally. They are adjacent.

And there's more magic on ios with the tabs.

I found a new one tonight, how to save webpages as pdf files, other than the nicely obvious one of emailing them with "pdf" as a labeled option. Will post it tmw for visibility.
