Once I said, "Fine, hide me but look at the post that appeared before the poster edited it." That poster was banned. But my hide wasn't restored.

alert swarming going on. Some of the hides were very ridiculous.

(11,761 posts)7. The last time I appealed a post removal, there was a box that said, something like
If your appeal is found to have merit, your post will be restored and you will be notified.
That was like 2 or more years ago, so my memory is hazy. There wasn't anything explicitely about what would, or would not happen if the appeal was rejected, but whatever the exact words were, I got the definite impression that there would be no notification about that.
