I keep getting 403 Forbidden messages while trying to reply to posts

This has been going on about a week. Not on all posts, just some.

Is this a glitch? Hacker?

2. It's a glitch, sort of

403 means you connected to our servers, but our firewall refused the connection for some reason. The firewall can sometimes generate false positives on connections which are legitimate. This is more likely to occur if you're using a VPN to connect to DU. If you are, my recommendation is to change the VPN's location, or turn the VPN off temporarily.

Typically the error is temporary, but it sounds like yours has been going on for a while. I don't suppose you've noticed any commonality between the threads which aren't working? Were you trying to post a link, for example?
