trying to buy hearts, can't do it

because it says if I want to bypass PayPal and pay by credit card I can. But it refuses to let me with this:

You will be taken to a PayPal page to complete your payment. When you reach that page, if you do not wish to sign in with a PayPal account, select the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option to check out as a guest.

There is no "Pay with Debit or Credit Card " option.

So now I'll sign up with the mail option but it makes me mad because I love giving out hearts and will only be able to give them out for a limited time. It will certainly take until next week until my check arrives.

I go through this every year. I don't understand why we have to even have to have the word "PayPal" in front of us.

I asked last week if we were gonna play this year but never heard for sure so hope I’m not too late but I will say, not a problem doing it the old fashioned way ❤️

3. If you're trying to make a one-time payment, after you enter the amount you should see this

Note that in the image it says $20.00 at the top, but it should say whatever you entered on the previous page.

Clicking the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button will then allow you to check out as a guest. (They still ask for an email address, but you can use a throwaway one. I think it's just for sending you a receipt.)

If you're not seeing the above, what are you seeing? Thanks.

PS. If we can't solve this and you end up mailing a check, sent me a PM to tell me how much it is for, and I'll make sure you get hearts to give out.

4. I'm not seeing the above

Here's what I'm seeing:

I already went into my account and made sure they had a current credit card. There is no reason for them not to be able to process a payment. I don't want anything to do with these shysters. At least once or twice a week I get scammer emails that force me to check my accounts. Now I have to go back tomorrow and try to remove the current credit card.

But I already printed out the mail form and wrote out a check, so I will take you up on your offer to advance my hearts. I will email you, per your post.

I hate PayPal. I have always hated them. From the moment they became a company and I tried to do anything with them, I have always had problems. I complained and complained but they ignored all my complaints. That is back when Musk owned them but they haven't improved. They are a mess.

5. I re-upped my star membership recently and

I was able to select debit card/credit card option. I think I did it without using PayPal from my end, although I did get an email from PP as a receipt. I read somewhere here that DU processes payments through PP whether or not the member uses PP.
(Hope I haven't misconstrued anything.)

My.main reason for not using PP is that.they send me emails about my "account" balance. I pretty much never use them if I can avoid it, but, like you, I like to take part in heart time here.
Again, I hope I got this straight. There may be a difference between buying a star vs. hearts process wise.
Take care. Pardon the ramble.
