There are three levels of ignore: mail, member and jury, go back in and look again.

There may be other places, but the home page is one place I'm sure of.

Is this happening everywhere on DU, or just on the home page? Unfortunately there are technical issues with the Ignore function on the home page, which is why it has never worked there.
However, if you're seeing ignored members elsewhere on the site, then it sounds like we need to fix something...
