but there is no red ‘rec’ button. So IDK, maybe rules of which I am ignorant.

There MAY BE a threshold number of posts before you can do certain actions.
But you're a star member and posted an OP, so that sure sounds unlikely.
I looked for a "master" list of DU rules and such, but didn't find such a thing.
I have had some boxes "kind of disappear" due to dark mode extensions on my browsers.
Could it just be hard to see?
Hope you find a cure!
