I'd been very worried about what Trump might do with Zelensky here, and between that and another worry I got absolutely no sleep the night before last. Was getting slightly tired by yesterday morning with 24 hours without sleep, but stayed up to see what happened in Washington, and then was so angry I was running on adrenaline till just after midnight last night, 39 hours without sleep (felt fine on zero sleep for that long, though I decided it would be a good idea to stay home, especially since I was joining everyone else not shopping yesterday).
Seemed to be doing OK posting online, too, here and on Twitter and Bluesky. And I was glad of that. When I was in college I once stayed up all night cramming for finals, and while I got the grades I expected, I also ended up drawing a graph in response to one essay question for a Classical Literature final, and it didn't occur to me that it might've been an unusual answer till I'd left the auditorium (still got an A).
Anyway, I've been wondering for a while what I could write to do a bit of damage to Trump and his allies, other than the sorts of things I've been posting here and on Bluesky and Twitter (where I've been blocked only a few times, by AI peddlers). And an idea for something that might work came to me last night, and it still seems like a good idea this morning (unlike drawing a graph to answer a question on classical literature). So I'll see what I can do with that, and maybe ask one of the nice Trump-hating filmmakers I've met on Twitter for a bit of help.
Trump and his allies aren't invulnerable, and they're surrounded by opponents.
We're down, but we're a long way from out.
And all of us have knowledge and skills and talents we can use to resist and fight back.
