I've cut back on my political contributions lately, and have increased 'charitable' due to food stamp debacle.

4. I'm mad as hell about the food stamp thing, too. My holiday giving will be to CT Food Bank.

And I'm adding in smaller donations at my supermarket each time I shop. It's only $3 a pop but I'm in that store so often it adds up.

I AM sending a check to Alison Lundgren Grimes. I'm so goddamn mad at Mitch McConnell! And she's terrific. I'm very impressed with her brains and her heart. I hope she wins! That poor state of KY. They have two absolutely HORRIBLE Senators...

over something she said regarding prosecuting the Wall St. guys...it was more of a technical point, actually, since he himself is a prosecutor. He is in favor of criminal penalties against them, but his issue is with Warren's interpretation about the civil prosecution. He's a good liberal, this is just a dispute over an interpretation....lawyer's stuff...

i suspect Warren is educable. if your grandbaby's father has a legitimate objection, i suspect EW would hear that and address it. i would hope so, at least.
