Tomorrow War - no spoilers

Starring Chris Pratt on Amazon

Just watched half of it. Couldn’t watch anymore.

I’m too old to waste my time on such drivel.

That’s my review lol

....and said that my husband might like this movie. I had never heard of it so looked it up to read the plot.

I would love to hear why you didn't like it. I did read that it got mixed reviews. The plot honestly did not interest me, but I often don't get into movies with apocalyptic themes.

Thank you.....

With trope after trope of writing. Giant plot holes you could drive a battleship through.

I know it’s a “turn off you brain and enjoy it” type movie, it was so insulting that I would have to remove my brain to enjoy it.

Chris Pratt like him or not, looked like he was thinking too hard when trying to act in this thing aka trying to elevate a marginal script but wasn’t successful

The action sequences are okay but there is a lot that isn’t explain and thus the reasons why certain things are done, make absolutely no sense.

But who knows, I’m a very hard critic

I am a pretty harsh critic myself, so I bet I would agree with your assessment. I have a hard time watching a movie with illogical plot twists and contortions because I consider it evidence of lazy screenwriting or directing.

I do realize that many people love lots of action in their movies whereas plot may seem less important. (Of course, good movies have been made with both.)

Thank you for taking the time to share your impression of the movie. I am not really interested in watching it.

Really, it’s a wasted opportunity. It’s an interesting concept: Thirty years in the future, humanity is getting wiped out by invading aliens, so people come back in time to get reinforcements. After sending actual soldiers, and seeing them get wiped out, humanity begins drafting people in 2021, and sending them to the future. With no training, no uniforms, no equipment, and no weapons. And wonder why the aliens keep kicking out ass.

STUPID! But there is an interesting plot twist, just not interesting enough to save this bomb.
