Drove down to Ypsilanti to watch EMU Basketball game.

Got the invite and said sure.
I graduated from EMU and had never gone to game. I live in Mt. Pleasant and have gone to one CMU Girls game.
Had the best time. EMU was behind the whole game until the last few minutes and won. CMU had just beat Michigan the week before and then MSU beat Michigan last night.
Had fun, going to a game beats watching on tv.

Returned to school while working full time. EMU had smaller classes and would refuse to let you fail. I did really well there and graduated with high honors. Me?

Spent time there as a kid. Aunts uncles and cousins. Went to watch George Gervin play when Hillsdale College traveled there. Sat on EMU students side and cheered for Hillsdale. Took lots of good natured abuse but had a great time. George was everything they said he was.

Super cool shops and bars. All of the old hippies still make it home.
