Been tied to the Celts since, forever. Became aware during the Russell-Chamberlin Wars of the mid 60's. The 85/86 Celts were the class I grew up with. The 2008 teams was awesome, of course. The current Celtics are the best version yet. Firing on 10 cylinders.

(327 posts)The Heat is starting to look tired but showed they are a great team for much if the first half.
But the Celtics are having a breakout game, with all their starters snd bench having great nights respectively. Its lots of fun to watch such talent and teamwork tonight!

I'm still partial to the Bird, Parrish, McHale team that battled so often with the Lakers.
I still remember Mchale clothes-lining Rambis in one of those battles.

(16,953 posts)firing Udoka as coach after his misbehaving, and trading away Marcus Smart. It has obviously paid off. That being said....they do have to win a banner, to be considered with the other great iterations...
