Sources - A'ja Wilson, WNBA MVP, Extends Six-Year Deal with Nike

A'ja Wilson, a graduate of Stanford and a native of Baltimore, has a wealth of experience from her time at the Dallas Morning News, Seattle Times, and Cincinnati Enquirer.

The star player of the Las Vegas Aces, A'ja Wilson - a three-time WNBA MVP and two-time league champion - has signed a six-year contract extension with Nike, marking one of the richest shoe deals for a female basketball player, sources told ESPN on Tuesday.

This news comes after Wilson was named to Nike's iconic athletes list in May and announced the launch of her signature shoe, the "A'One," set to be released in spring 2025 ahead of the WNBA season.

Wilson's new deal ranks among the highest-paid shoe contracts in the sport, alongside those of 2024 WNBA number one draft pick Caitlin Clark, USC star JuJu Watkins, and Liberty standout Sabrina Ionescu.
