The Media. Young Voters. Sanders Spreads the Blame for His Decline.
New York TimesST. LOUIS — To Senator Bernie Sanders, there is plenty of blame to go around when it comes to his recent reversal of fortune. For everyone but him and his campaign.
The “corporate media” didn’t pay attention to his agenda.
The Democratic Party establishment aligned to block him from winning its presidential nomination.
And the young voters he counted on to power his campaign didn’t come through for him.

It can't be said too often. This is no small thing. It's important! It's so maddening...

It can't be said too often. This is no small thing. It's important! It's so maddening that people aren't paying close enough attention, or that this is one aspect of leadership that has fallen by the wayside.
A politician's honesty and integrity is just as important as their intelligence, demeanor, and temperament. These things can also be determined and judged by simply glancing at the individuals a candidate hires to be be on his (or her) campaign staff. This includes their top surrogates and mouthpieces.

(88,249 posts)9. It's Hillary's fault:
Asked by a voter how he’d get a resistant Congress to enact his slate of progressive proposals, Mr. Sanders said people who believe he can’t work with lawmakers to get things done are wrong.
“There’s a mythology going out around me that everybody hates me; we heard that from Secretary Clinton that I can’t work with anybody,” he said. “It’s just not accurate.”

He's like Trump in that. It's always someone else's fault. Never any though of self-reflection or re-evaluation.
Gross.
