Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forum
Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
IMO providing whether a candidate wins or loses a county is not appropriate.
Delegates are apportioned at two different levels. State-wide and congressional districts.
The only delegates that are apportioned at the county level are for state conventions.

OP
The way it is currently they provide a misconception that delegates are by counties.

So what's the problem with media reporting who wins counties in the various states? It's just a gauge of now widespread a candidate's support is, and doesn't impact delegate apportionment.

(28,834 posts)4. Counties are easy to track and report, plus there are county-wide races.
Judges and sheriffs, to name a couple, are often elected at the county level. There's no reason not to report them.
There are more races going on than the top one.
