I am never going to say a negative thing about Sanders again.

The primary has been very stressful for me, and I really felt uncomfortable with some of the negative things that I have said about Bernie Sanders. He just wasn't a candidate that appealed to me, and anytime I had to explain any of the reasons why, I found myself in a trap. Anything negative I said, it turned into a whole recitation of canned talking points for and against. And I feel like I was being dragged back into 2016, which was the absolute low ab of our democracy.

I pray that from today going forward I will never say a negative thing about Bernie Sanders. I might say some mean things about his campaign staff and their inflammatory comments, but the bulk of his supporters were in it for good reasons and because they wanted to see America do better and be better.

And I do believe that the wave of young progressives elected as Democrats in the past few years have been inspired by him in part and will be a strong positive force for this country.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

That is for sure, but nobody is perfect. There really is no question when November gets here. Trump's gotta go.

And I will continue to do so. I just hope others will join as Biden is showing us that we need to unite, not criticizing each other. We should focus our fire toward republicans and specifically on Trump.

Thank you for respecting me as a Sanders supporter. I gave Sanders the legal limit because I passionately wanted Health Care for All. Our daughter is a professor of medicine and now in the front lines of the COVID-19 Epidemic. She is practicing medicine with hands tied behind her back. My brother in law died in Vietnam for a lie so we loved that Sanders was against the waste that are the foreign wars for empire. We have contributed a lot to this country as a neuroscientist who did pioneering work on synaptic plasticity and as a bilingual teacher and human rights activist. I grew tired of the Sanders bashing on this site. Now today we are changing bumper stickers, and working for the Biden campaign. Sanders is bringing our money to Biden and together we will win!

I think America is in really bad shape, and I think that we all have to reach into ourselves and try to be the best people we can.

This makes official what’s been clear for a while. We are in the General now. We need to come together if we’re gonna beat Trump.

I intend to bury the hatchet with regard to Bernie Sanders immediately. I now consider it my duty to support Senator Bernie Sanders and all of his supporters in any way possible.

To Bernie Sanders and his supporters...May The Road Rise To Meet ya:

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rain fall softly on your fields
And until we meet again
May you keep safe
In the gentle loving arms of God

Out of respect for the final candidates in the primaries, I switched from Pete to D when he dropped out and told myself that I would remain that way either to the convention or the last viable candidate dropping out...sorry Tulsi and supporters, but your campaign is not viable.

Thank you to Senator Sanders for invigorating the debate and raising issues that cannot be now forgotten. It makes a stronger party to ensure ideas are always welcome and debated, and even those that we may not immediately agree with need to be thoroughly vetted and debated in time.

Now, on to the only order of business left between now and November - the destruction and obliteration of Donald Trump's re-election campaign and the conversion of the name "Trump" into an anathema so distasteful that none will dare speak it in the future.

As the bodies pile up and the economic panic in Trump and his lackeys becomes more severe, we as a party must unite, must present a coherent strategy for recovery and state a clear message - "ALL FRAUD AND ABUSE OF PUBLIC RELIEF WILL BE MET WITH PROSECUTION AND PRISON". NO EXCEPTIONS, NO "PAST IS THE PAST" CARDS THIS TIME....

If Trump and his cronies try to steal the relief funds and line their pockets, our party position MUST be a resounding John Boehner-esque "LIKE HELL YOU CAN!!!"

Fellow Democrats, it is time to unite. It is time to defeat Trump and Trump alone from today forward...we cannot survive - LITERALLY for untold thousands already - another 4 days of Trump, let alone signing up for another 4 years through bickering or inaction or petulance or grievance.

Hey hey, Ho ho...
All things Trump Have Got to GO!!!

primary today, I would vote for:
