I haven't encountered any bugs yet. Love the layout, though it did take a little time getting used to it. Not a complaint - new takes time.
Really love how the Latest Videos forum has been done. Easier and more inviting.
I don't mind the Preview before posting but I can see how making it optional will be the preference for most.
Thank you both for all the hard work to improve the DU experience.
Going to go play with the new formatting options for creating a post.
Thank you again!

P.S.
Spell-check always wants to create correct my screen name, so nothing new there.

(22,566 posts)Yes, please feel free to play around with it. As I've mentioned in other posts, my main concern right now is making sure that people are able to easily perform the most common tasks that they're used to on DU -- navigating to forums, finding threads, posting, etc. etc. As long as people aren't having any trouble with the basic stuff, that's good.
There are many new little bells and whistles here and there that you might just stumble across as you're looking around the site -- just little fixes and tweaks, some new, some that people have been asking about for years -- but those are not so important to me at the moment as making sure the basic functionality is all working and makes sense to people.

(93,053 posts)No problems finding the many different groups. I went through all the headings looking for the various groups I usually peruse and found them all.
No problems searching for old thread/posts. I found everything I looked for, but I also didn't go back too far. Just testing it.
No problems in the Retired Forums. Bounced around there with no bugs.
Going to play some more.
Thanks, again.

(186,984 posts)The Default mode really looked like everything was floating. Plus this is what Im used to.

(93,053 posts)I bet a lot of people choose it as their personal default. A little familiarity aids in adjusting to new things - as long as it can connect to something they are already used to; new additions are easier.

(93,053 posts)Hey you!
Took some exploring through the new headings to rediscover some forums and I've mostly used this time to go about on DU as usual, but I've only had one problem so far. (the Self-Delete option)
Found the return of the abandon account option. In the very (very) early days of DU there was an option for deleting your account yourself. No Walt Starr moments necessary.
I like the new layout in account settings better than on DU3. It's a definite improvement.
I'm enjoying myself.
