I listened to MSNBC (on SiriusXM) for the first time since the election... It was pretty good until on Alex Wagner's show, out of the blue, I heard this idiot talking about Trump's "swarm technique" of overwhelming us with so many terrible cabinet picks. She complained that while we were focused on Hegseth, we weren't focusing on Kash Patel, and if we are focusing on Patel, that means we're not focusing on how terrible RFK Jr is, etc... Well, dear dumbass Susan, we are TRYING, we are DOING OUR BEST. If we cannot get them all, should we not try to get rid of ANY of them??? Are you suggesting we somehow wave a magic f*cking wand and get rid of every Trump nominee simultaneously? How should we go about it, Susan?
What kind of argument is that? How unhelpful can a pundit be? How useless can a talking head be? What is her answer to getting rid of these people besides doing our best and getting them rejected one at a time?
That is the kind of circuitous "we can't win no matter what" BS that drove me away from cable TV in the first place.
I had a higher regard for Glasser--the book she wrote with Peter Baker, THE DIVIDER, is very good--but perhaps it wasn't merited after all.
