Related: About this forumAllstate CEO criticized for comments following New Orleans attack - NewsNation
Allstate Ceo Tom Wilson is facing backlash for a message that played during pregame festivities at last week's Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Wilson first said their prayers are with the victims of the New Orleans attack before saying people need to be "stronger together by overcoming an addiction to divisiveness and negativity." NewsNation media contributor Colby Hall believes Wilson's intentions behind his message were good, but says it was "tone deaf" when Wilson pivoted given the attack that just happened.

Refreshing to hear a millionaire CEO tell the truth, and par for the course for a media contributor for a supposed "news network" to pooh pooh reality.
And who is the "backlash" supposedly coming from? NewsNation? Who would know, and why would anyone care?

The MAGAts were losing their shit because ESPN showed a commercial instead of the National Anthem and moment of silence while airing the Sugar Bowl.
