This is like Custer being asked by a reporter during the Little Big Horn battle if he thought he was on the brink of being massacred.

On the brink? We are so deep in a damned crisis that we may not be able to find our way out of it. With Watergate, we had Nixon, an unlikeable man who was, truly, disliked by most of his own Party. He was going to be impeached without an one saying otherwise.

Now we have a fascist President (Trump) and a Nazi special president (Musk) plus a sycophantic and fascist supporting Republican Party loving every goddamned thing Fatso and the Afro-Nazi want to do -- regardless the consequences for the constitution. We also have more than 50% of the good ole freedom loving American people praising Leader Trump's successes in his first 2 weeks.

Are we on the brink? The orchestra conductor on the Titanic, his shoes getting wet as the huge ship sinks, asks a page to please check with the Captain to see if the ship is on the brink of taking on water.
