'Evil, Greed': Alex Wagner speaks with 'Cancer Alley' residents impacted by Trump's attacks on EPA - Alex Wagner - MSNBC

MSNBC’s Alex Wagner speaks to life-long residents of a majority-Black community in Louisiana’s ‘Cancer Alley’ affected by the Trump administration’s decision to drop a lawsuit against a petrochemical plant. The Denka plant in LaPlace, LA was accused by the Biden administration in 2023 of emitting unsafe levels of the toxic chemical chloroprene.

Several residents sat down with Alex to discuss their concerns about living in a ‘sacrifice zone’ and Trump’s broader attacks on the EPA and environmental regulations. - Aired on 03/19/2025.
