NYC Mayor Mamdani's candidates prevail with bold ideas that Democrats say they can win on - The 11th Hour - MS NOW

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is celebrating key wins in Tuesday’s Congressional primaries, which saw three of his endorsed candidates come out victorious. And Fmr. Rep. Max Rose (D-NY) says Democrats can unify around the kind of bold ideas those progressive candidates ran on: “it’s not something we should be scared of as a party.” - Aired on 06/23/2026.

Dems efforts to help real people with issues like affordability, having clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, earning a living wage, being able to afford to buy a home are called "socialism" but the GOP's big tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations and GOP controlled SCOTUS allowing unlimited campaign contributions from billionaires and big corporations to buy elections are perfectly fine. We the people are on to this hypocrisy.

And its not the billionaires either. It Mamdani and the people who call themselves "progressives." You are not "the people." You are part of a minority of them. Call them something else.

Things have changed dramatically since then with Trump's unconstitutional tariffs and illegal and unconstitutional Iran war driving up the cost of everything, Trump's taking government stakes in a number of big companies (this follows in Hitler's footsteps), Trump's shredding of the constitution, Trump's attacks on blue cities like Minneapolis, Trump's hatred of immigrants and the list goes on.

In addition, the democratic grass roots is fed up with the Dem establishment's refusal to stand up to the anti democracy, anti working people, anti democracy GOP by turning the page and going along to get along. This Democratic establishment strategy has brought our country to the brink of becoming a Nazi dictatorship. It's time for this failed strategy to end.

They are doing all the can and those lies hurt us at the polls and in fundraising. Tell me a reasonable thing Democrats could be doing but aren't? So far the people telling that lie either haven't been able to answer at all or they suggest some lethally unpopular progressive idea like defunding the police. The grass roots is turning against us because they keep being lied to by people who call themselves "progressives."

The people should be turning against Republicans and TOWARD Democrats. The far lefties who made us lose in 2,000 and 2016 are working on doing it again. And this time the result will be full blown Fascism and not fair elections every again.

Show me a poll with widespread support for socialism if you think its changed.
