1. About time

When it comes down to it ....Republicans are REQUIRED for the worst of trumps plans.
It's also the republican party that gave rise to trump, which enables trump that covers for trump that makes excuses for trump....

So can we see the real problem here?

2. This is not anyone's father's Republican party

TFG, who has also at one time or another claimed to be a Democrat and an Independent and likely rarely voted, has turned the Republican party into one that reflects his own personal opinions and plans. I'm old enough to remember Ronald Reagan who welcomed immigrants to this country, was extremely tough on Gorbachev and the then-USSR even though Gorbachev had instituted more progressive policies, glasnost and perestroika, and Reagan joined the other living former presidents, Carter and Ford, in supporting the passage of President Clinton's 1994 Assault Weapons Ban.

And you're right, anyone who isn't "loyal" to TFG and his opinions and edicts is no longer welcome in "his" Republican party, he has saved his harshest criticisms and threats for those Republicans who have opposed him (Liz Cheney), resulting in an exodus from the current party and numerous "retirements" from Congress.

3. Yes they can

and will. That is what this is all about. We see that the most uninformed voters put them in. We are all going to hurt, but more than ever I want trumpers to suffer. I want them to whine and complain. The rich won't suffer, but the rest of us will. What fools.

4. my own mother is , thankfully deceased

but when medicaid is repealed. or more likely "returned to the states," a lot of people will be getting calls from the nursing home like

"mr maga, please come get your mother by noon tomorrow or we will be required to move her out of the building."
