Related: About this forumJudge Chutkan Dismisses Trump's DC Case "Without Prejudice." Is A Future Prosecution Realistic? - Glenn Kirschner
Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a motion to dismiss "without prejudice" Trump's federal criminal case for trying the steal the 2020 presidential election. Judge Chutkan granted the dismissal without prejudice, meaning the case can potentially be prosecuted in the future when Trump is no longer president.
But how realistic is a future prosecution of Trump for his democracy-busting crimes? And what steps can Trump and his future Attorney General take to try to make a any future prosecution impossible?
This video discusses the variables, and the likelihood of a future prosecution of Trump. - Glenn Kirschner - 11/26/2024.

And how much of that hair is actually his? Can you imagine any other president appearing in public this way - unless it's Halloween, that is? So much for being ready for that 3AM phone call.

Trump isnt facing that sort of threat. Its a bit more like the absurd countdown cliché facing Batman or James Bond where, instead of simply shooting our hero, the villain places him in a situation where he faces certain death, after a known delay, unless, somehow, he can escape
(which our hero always does
)
Of course, the prosecution may never be renewed.
