How mind boggling stupid does one have be to make asinine comments like this?!? Yet another example of how, for some, religions rots the brain.

List of slave rebellions in the United States
Historians in the 20th century identified 250 to 311 slave uprisings in U.S. and colonial history.[15]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slave_rebellion_and_resistance_in_the_United_States
BTW, there were four known slave-ship mutinies (I'm assuming mutiny implies the crew, not the slaves revolted -- it's not made clear). The famed Amistad* revolt (which I read about in 6th grade -- Rev, just what school did YOU go to ?) is not listed in that category, but as a slave revolt, which reinforces that interpretation. Oh, and there was a [/i1995 Spielberg movie about the Amistad, so you didn't even have to go to school to learn about that one !
ETA: TWO MINUTES with Wikipedia. TWO MINUTES !! This "pastor" needs to exit his mis-chosen profession.
*Spanish for "friendship". Just .... Orwellian.

Slaves were most certainly there in D.C. - CONSTRUCTING THE FUCKING BUILDINGS.

📸 "Chained Slaves in Front of the U.S. Capital Building, Washington, D.C., 1814" by Jesse Torrey
The Capitol was intended to embody the liberty of the American people, but its construction did not live up to this loft ideal. For the many enslaved workers tasked with constructing the building, this liberty was not a given. They worked for little to no compensation, cutting and quarrying stones, clearing trees, digging ditches, and brick by brick assembling the building. The Statue of Freedom itself, which overlooks the National Mall from its place at the peak of the dome, was cast by Phillip Reid, an African American man born into slavery.

The U.S. Capitol
Slaves rented from their owners were involved in almost every stage of the Capitols construction, which began in 1793. The federal government relied heavily on those slaves, according to the Architect of the Capitol website, to make it possible for Congress to move from Philadelphia to Washington in 1800. Congress unveiled a marker to acknowledge the work of enslaved people in 2012. The image from the Library of Congress below shows the Capitol Dome being erected in 1863 the year after the Districts 3,000 slaves were emancipated by Congress and President Lincoln.

And George Washington had to flee PA every 6 months with the slaves he kept here in Philly (PA had abolished it by the time he was President), where he took them back down to Virginia.
This is where former President George Washington lived with his 9 slaves -

Lots of comments about the man's ignorance and stupidity.
I don't see the words "bigoted" or "racist" on the thread.
