It became obvious to Joe that this sadistic prosecution of his son would never end, that there would never be justice. Joe gave the process a chance to reach justice. He did not object to the plea agreement. But when Republicans blew the plea agreement up, it was clear the process would never reach justice. And then with Kash Patel coming in with his enemies list, it was clear the torture would never end.
