We can certainly have valid discussion over whether far too much information is classified under current practices - and additionally whether dissemination is (sometimes, and with a good deal of hesitancy) a public service. What really doesn't stand up to much debate - is whether the government has authority to 'investigate' such leaking. Correct? And, sorry, but that clearly does include the executive and legislative. Invoking 'separation of powers' here is rather specious ...
