I hope you had a day sufficiently full of being old,
decrepit, opinionated, cranky, shouting at the TV, napping and peeing every hour on the hour.
I also hope you had a celebratory meal or cake or whatever treat (or not) suits your fancy.
I am thankful for you and appreciate the few times we've interacted here. I am looking forward to more.
I'd really don't think 80 is old. You may surprise yourself. I just hope that the surprise isn't that you wake up cranky and shouting at the TV, because of peeing when you were napping.
That is a significant turn of events that signals the possibility of a cause for concern.
Regardless, making it to 80 entitles you to be anything you like. I'll be thankful you’re here regardless.
