Will follow the insurance claims model, as they have already started. Lousy customer service, frequent errors (invariably to the customer's disadvantage) several levels of escalation over time to resolve disputes, unnecessary hurdles, etc.

They will most certainly be slow to fix bugs that that slow or lower payments, and I have to think they'll put in some such bugs deliberately (it's a feature!)

In fact, I'll bet they will figure out the exact percentage of benefits they can cut "by accident" that is just the amount that people will give up fighting for. Maybe they'll even have an airline/hotel model that dynamically adjusts this percentage on the fly.

Only with a strongly democratic Congress do we stand even a chance to hold musk and Donnie and others accountable.
