If the coverage were limited to JD Vance, then you could perhaps say it's just because Vance is visiting Greenland today. But the number of GOP mouthpieces going on every far-right news media channel today, with coordinated comments meant to be over the top and repulsive, speaks to a different motivation.

Trump is doing his firehouse approach to distract the media's focus on Signal-gate, but I honestly don't think it will work. Signal-gate isn't going away any time soon. Too much juicy meat still left on the Signal-gate story for the media to let go of that bone .
