5. Rubio and the rest of the MAGAs just hold objectively false ideological beliefs

and spout them out as if nobody will say, hey, wait a minute. Rubio is also supposed to be the top US diplomat. DIPLOMAT. He's supposed to behave diplomatically, not walk into a press conference and insult his hosts. It's so incredibly condescending to believe that there is some cohort of foreign workers just working away in Jamaica as forced laborers, as if 1) those workers have no agency and 2) Jamaica has no labor laws and 3) Jamaica is unable to enforce international labor standards within its own borders. Like what the fuck? That's our top diplomat?

I mean, I get that Rubio is a of Cuban heritage and has held absolutely nutty ideological beliefs about Cuba all his life, but why did he have to belittle his hosts in Jamaica in the bargain? It's just so fucking tactless and unnecessary.
