As well as new issues, you could have a 'let's not forget about' feature for things like SignalGate. And you could have links to articles or quotes that relate to your mission. Links to and from other sites helps the algorithm drive traffic to your site.

It's too bad that 'Talking Points Memo' is already out there. It sounds like the perfect name for what you want to do.
