near as I can figure. That said, there's usually an aggravating factor which really isn't present in this case. It made news because the victim was a ceo of a big company, but really, that's it.
Basically, they're just pandering to their core constituency, that famously oppressed and marginalized group: sociopathic billionaires and CEOs.
