2. Public health, public safety, and public education...

These 3 things are primary responsibilities of democratic governance. The current regime seeks authoritarian rulership rather than responsible government, and has little use for such notions. The safety, health, and education of the nation's residents serve as an annoying impediment to dictatorship, so all three must be on the chopping block for maga.

It's no coincidence that in the lead-up to the current calamity all 3 were deliberately eroded by Republicans.
