Trump had the best dog and pony show amongst the contenders. And he showed it over and over and over, until he convinced his followers that Trump was a God. Think about it. He's been the center of attention his entire life. He was well versed at what he was going to do to get what he wanted. He lives for that attention. Somehow he then turned the entire shit show into a grifting exercise, to make him hundreds of millions from stupid innocent people. Where's the signs now? And what about Trumpy bear
