But you especially know when he says stuff like this.

Mocking the pleas of foreign leaders, he parodied: “Please, please, sir, make a deal. I’ll do anything. I’ll do anything, sir!”

This kind of thing only happens in Trump’s dreams, but I’m not sure he can tell the difference between dreams and reality.
