The puppy tale was a flashing red light at the time but we've since seen her predictable escalations -- posing as a dominatrix at CECOT, lying about Americans shot in the face or in the back, ignoring recent reports of criminal negligence leading to the death of Nurul Amin Shah Alam in Buffalo NY or Emmanuel Damas in Florence AZ

Noem published her doggy story almost two years ago, and it got publicity at the time. That didn't keep Tillis from voting to confirm her
