Based on reports from early March 2026, President Donald Trump has stated his intention to attend the dignified transfer of American service members killed during the ongoing conflict with Iran.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Trump plans to be present at the ceremony for six U.S. service members killed in "Operation Epic Fury," a military operation in response to hostilities with Iran. The transfer is scheduled to take place at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

Leavitt noted that the Pentagon is still working on the timing of the transfer, which will occur at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
