34. Same with both my parents

They're both dead now, but having been raised by them, the trauma still infects my generation SIGNIFICANTLY.

This is why I have been opposed to war since childhood. Every traumatic event reverberates for generations in both the political and personal sphere and I say this with absolute certainty. It is one of the truest things I know.

Hate never heals hate. Only love heals hate - a tragic underutilized truth.
