As a percentage 35% sounds fairly low, but go shopping or to a ball game and look around, 35 out of 100 of those people think the current madness is okay.

I also think about those who will stubbornly hang on after 47 is gone and it is very frightening. They may recede from public view for awhile, but they'll still stockpile guns, build compounds, start more private militias, and occasionally pull crap like the Oklahoma City bombing or Jan 6.

It has been a problem that has been swept aside for many years and we've learned the hard way not to ignore such people. They won't stay in the shadows forever. Meanwhile, we've had republicans who actually catered to these extremists because they'll do anything for a vote.
