BREAKING: HELL YES! Trump gets hit with a massive lawsuit over his hideous "renovations" to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

This is what he cares most about in the entire world...

“A blue-tinted basin is more appropriate to a resort or theme park,” stated Charles A. Birnbaum, head of the Cultural Landscape Foundation, which is bringing the suit.

“The Reflecting Pool should not be viewed in isolation; it is part of the larger ensemble of designed landscapes that comprise the National Mall," said Birnbaum. "The design intent, to create a reflective surface that is subordinate, is fundamental to the solemn and hallowed visual and spatial connection between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial."

Trump wants to slap an "American flag blue" coating on the iconic installation, giving it a tacky swimming pool aesthetic better suited to one of his failed Atlantic City casinos than a national monument. For a man obsessed with buildings and renovations, it's genuinely remarkable that he's never managed to cultivate so much as an ounce of good taste.

The suit, which has been filed in federal district court in D.C., seeks an emergency intervention to stop Trump's destructive project. It argues that under the National Historic Preservation Act, Trump was required to conduct proper consultations before making any changes. Similarly, the renovations violate the National Environmental Policy Act.

The best part of this lawsuit is how it's guaranteed to enrage Trump. As his illegal Iran War drags on pointlessly and the American economy is reduced to ashes, he has become more and more fixated on his White House ballroom and the Reflecting Pool renovations. Faced with the total collapse of his presidency, he's retreating into vanity projects. Now is the time to strip those away from him too!
